When you first log in to your QuotingBill session, you will have two ways of creating a quote, you can either do it through the summary setup view or 'Quotes' tab as shown below.
Don't worry, if you already clicked on 'Dismiss setup' at the bottom of the summary view, you can always create a quote through the 'Quotes' tab.
Once in the quote configuration, you can add your brand logo, edit your brand information, select an existing client or create a new one and start adding products or create new ones as well.
You are also able to add quick notes which will be shown to your customer at the time of requesting for approval.
Now, let's get into the products details. By default, products are set in their recurring pricing, however, you can switch them into their 'one-time' model. By doing this, you can have some products set as recurring and some others as 'one-time'.
While creating new products... remember we were able to set different prices based on contract terms? At this point, you will be able to select the term and see those prices, or, better yet, be able to edit them.
Notice that taxes are pulled directly from
CSI Compliance app integration.
Finally, notice that you are able to download or print this document through more actions, send the quote without pushing an invoice (send quote only), set an expiration date for the quote, set the date when this quote will start billing (invoice details) and create a project from the quote you will be sending.
Once you send the quote you will be able to see it listed in the quote 'Quotes' tab as shown below.
This is the email notification the end user will get.
Once they click on 'View Quote!' they will be able to sign and accept the order.
After the quote is signed and accepted, if you selected the option to create an invoice upon this quote, the customer will be able to pay through their existing payment methods or create a new one if necessary.
Remember that you can find your quotes listed in the 'Quotes' tab showing their current status.
