QuotingBill - Creating/Importing Customers

When you first log in to your QuotingBill session, you will have two ways of creating a customer, you can either do it through the setup view or through the customers tab as shown below.

Notice that you can import customers through a csv file or create them from scratch as shown below.

Adding a new customer

Don't worry, if you already clicked on 'Dismiss setup' at the bottom of the setup view, you can always create customers through the Customers tab.

Once in the customer configuration, you will have to save its basic information making sure all the mandatory fields are filled.

Great news, we have created our first customer, let's edit it to see what we can do next.

As shown above, we can update the customer information, see current balance, configure a payment method, see subscription/purchased products, get all projects assigned to the customer and finally see/edit the contacts under this client (you can add more to grant access to the account portal).

Adding a new customer through a csv file

Before you select the csv from your computer, please notice the headers the file should have, if it doesn't, you will be able to map them after selecting the file.

Headers are: company, first_name, last_name, email. phone, address, address2, city, state, zipcode and country.

Once the customers are imported you should be able to see them listed under the customers tab.
